Nulogy Quality & Compliance - API Information

Overview

Data within your organization can be accessed via API through the credentials of an API-authorized user. This can be used to push data and information, such as through Data Stores, or can be used for reporting purposes, like with Microsoft Power BI.

How can I start using the API with Nulogy Quality & Compliance?

There is no cost to start using the API to access your data. To get started, you will need to:

1. Create a user dedicated to API use
2. Contact Support ([e-mail]) to enable the user for API access

API Users

• User Role: Your API User should have an Admin user role.
• Security:
  • It’s recommended to use a secure password for this user.
  • Later changes to the username and/or password after creation and active use will require updates to all of your API reporting requests.
  • Do not enable 2FA for this user.
• Assets:
  • You can grant this user access to all Assets, or, if preferred, limit it to a set of assets within the tree you want it to pull data from.

Setting up the user for API

Contact support through [e-mail], asking for a user to be granted API access
Make sure to include the API user email that you’ve created.

We’ll set up the user with API access on our end, and you’ll be able to start using that user's login and password to access your data.
